After a great night and a tough deliberation, the winner of the Engresca't 2011 is Mal Trago. Congragulations!

We already know the finalists for the Engresca't 2011. The bands which will play the next Friday 11th March 21h in Salamandra are:

• Mal Trago (first ranked)
• Up with the MESS (second ranked)
• Marge d'Error (selected by A.C.Telecogresca members)
• The Wave (selected by A.C.Telecogresca members)

The jury of the contest will be formed by:

• José Luís Martin (in representation of Bad Music)
• Ricard Martín (Time Out Barcelona member)
• Eduard Bacardi (in representation of both La Casa de la Música and sala Salamandra)
• Ramon Pujol (in representation of Casafont Records)
• Music responsible of A.C.Telecogresca

We inform that all votes have been validated and voting ranking is now available in the Votes section. The contest finalists that will play this Friday 11th March in Salamandra will be published in this website during this afternoon.

Tal y como os comentamos, hemos procedido a analizar todos los votos grupo a grupo para detectar aquellos que infringen las normas del concurso. La organización quería esperar a hacer pública esta actualización una vez finalizadas las votaciones, pero dada la insistencia de algunos de vosotros hemos creído conveniente hacerlo un poco antes. En finalizar las votaciones revisaremos los votos del día de hoy.

La verificación de votos ha consistido en la detección y la eliminación de aquellos votos (casi 7000) procedentes de proxys, IP's correlativas y dentro de un mismo rango en un mismo día para un mismo grupo fruto de votaciones masivas desde aulas informáticas, reinicios de router o votaciones des de un mismo dispositivo móvil de IP dinámica. Así mismo, la organización ha tomado la decisión de no descualificar a ningún grupo infractor dado que no podemos asegurar la procedencia de los votos fraudulentos.

La organizacion se pone a disposición de los grupos afectados para cualquier duda que puedan tener sobre esta validación de votos, únicamente vía el correo electrónico del concurso: engrescat(at)telecogresca.com.

Irregularities detected in the voting process

During the past hours we have received several questions about the competition's polling system.

We must tell you that we, the organizers, are continuously trying to ensure a fair, cheats-free voting process. We have detected some irregularities in the votes for some of the groups taking part in the contest, such as methodic mass-voting from computer rooms in schools and universities, repeated votes from one single computer after reseting the modem to have a new IP address and votes from free or open proxies networks, to mention a few. We invite everyone doing this, specially those members of a group taking part of the contest, to stop doing so. The organization may decide, eventually, to disqualify offending groups if found into unfair activities.

We remind you, then, that every single vote is periodically analyzed and those considered to be fraudulent o suspected to be so will be removed from the total rank.

The submission period has been finished. We are very proud about the quality of the most groups. The bands list will be published today and the voting process will be opened very soon. Good luck!

We have very good news about the contest Engresca't 2011.

We have just signed a deal with the company Duradisc, European leader in custom manufacturing and personalization of digital and optical media with the best quality and the best market prices. Duradisc will provide to the winner 1.000 +Audio-CD Jewel Box Black or transparent + Little book with 4 pages . 4 / 4 + inlay4/ 0 or 4 / 4 + Manipulation (Product ready for distribution).

As well as playing in the Telecogresca festival and recording a disc, with this new collaboration the winner of the contest will have up to 1000 copies available for its distribution. We are proud that Engresca't is growing everyday!

A new edition of l'Engresca't will start in few days. l'Engresca't is the contest which gives an amateur band the chance to play their music in Telecogresca 2011.

Here you can find the poster used in the promotion of the contest, which you may have already seen in rehearsal rooms, universities, bars, etc. Clicking on the image you can get a bigger size version, so you can share it with your friends. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to have printed posters in order to hang them around. Moreover, in this web you can find all the information concerning the contest.
